I don’t know how many Pokémon fanfic readers are here, but I’ll give it a try.

I want to read a Pokémon fanfic, but I almost never read fanfics, so I’m a bit lost. I’m looking for something that is:

  • realistic and mature (no ten-year-olds sent alone into the woods; real danger; Pokémon/trainers can die; villains have believable motives; themes that resonate with adults, …),
  • not overly edgy (I read Sacrifice and Subjugation and appreciated its realism, but the teenage edginess is annoying),
  • character-driven with interesting characters (OC or canon, I don’t mind),
  • finished.

Do you know any that fit? Thanks!
